Q: Why did you start MIGS?

Well, I grew up in a family of nurses, and I guess I saw the need for compression socks while I watched them work all day at their shifts. Personally, I was in between jobs and saw the opportunity to help out where I thought I could be of service.

Q: What's the story with the family business?

The fact is that MIGS is really run by myself and my dad. I handle the website and I work with our manufacturers. My dad handles the order shipping. We live in different cities, so this has been a great way to keep in touch every day. And you know, if nothing else, I'll be happy that MIGS has provided my dad and me with that relationship.

Q: There are lots of other compression socks out there. What makes MIGS different?

With MIGS, we made compression socks that really work. Lots of compression socks offer less compression and they're really comfortable but don't provide the benefits that you get with improved circulation. On the other hand, some brands are too tight and intense for daily use, like the ones used in hospitals. We made compression socks that are backed by medical research, offering the most benefits while being comfortable enough to wear all day.

Q: What's up with the return policy?

Our return policy is the return policy that I want when I shop at other businesses: If you're not happy with MIGS for any reason within a month of receiving your order, you get in touch with us and we'll give you a full refund, no questions asked. We want to be a company that you love to shop with, so if you have any problems, give us a call, and we'll set it straight.

Q: How can I get in touch if I have questions?

We're always around by email at hello@itsmigs.com. Send us an email, and it'll go straight to our phones. So unless we're completely indisposed babysitting my sister's 4-year-old, we'll be writing back to you within a few minutes.

Q: How do you guys handle worldwide shipping?

If you buy two pairs or more, we'll ship them for free worldwide. If you just need a pair or two there's a small shipping charge based on your location. North American orders take a little under a week to arrive. Orders further afield take about two full weeks.
